It was a very merry Christmas!

Isn't it sad when Holiday's come to an end?! Yesturday we were feeding A.J. the Seal in the Pacific Ocean and today I'm sitting back in my office! That's life I guess. We had a wonderful holiday though, celebrating Christmas with the Robinsons. A week was just enough time to relax and to see all of the sites. Here are some of the things we did:

Dec 22
-decorated the Christmas Tree! I enjoy the Robinson's way of decorating the tree with all of the ornaments that the kids have made over the years. I think I enjoy it so much because that is what my family does as well!
-Buchart Gardens (of course!)
-Skated outside at Buchart Gardens (even though it was warm outside and that it rained earlier in the day, not to mention the thunder storm that we had!)

Dec 23
-Peter, his brothers and his dad went to play golf while I relaxed on the couch and watched TLC!
-in the evening I met up with some old friends from college (Paul and Deanne) who were visiting Victoria for Christmas as well. I finally got to see their baby who is now 1 year old! What a cutie!

Dec 24
-Christmas Eve! We went to the beach! Played some frisbee, watched the seals, went for a little hike
-Christmas Eve service at Westsong Community Church. It is a brand new church of the Salvation Army. They worship in a school theatre which I thought was way cool
-ate Christmas goodies! Another tradition of the Robinsons is to not eat any Christmas baking until Christmas Eve...I don't think that the Goulding's would ever be able to adopt that tradition!

Dec 25
-we woke up at around 9am and opened our presents from family and from Santa! I was super spoiled this year. Peter gave me a set a African drums!! I was so surprised! He is so fantastic and knows me so well! I also got the first pieces of the Willow Tree Nativity Scene set, a Calgary Flames Jersey, a new toque, U-no Extreme, new pj's, cookbooks and so much more! My in laws treat me way too good.
-in the afternoon we watched 'march of the penjuins' and played with our new board games.

Dec 26
-went to Goldstream to see the Eagles!!
-went to see the Christmas light show on the Navy ships...not as exciting as it sounds...but it was still a fun adventure!
-had a bonfire at the ocean!!

Dec 27
-went downtown to see an Imax Show
-went to UnderSea Gardens!

Dec 28
-Fed the seal
-Went to the Wax museum
-horse and carriage ride!!

It was so much fun!! I will post some pics soon!!! Hope you had just as much fun this Christmas as I did! Now it's time to get ready for New Years!! Hooray for another long weekend!!!

YOu guys sound like you had a great one, i'm glad to hear. YOu make me so jealous, I wish I had a husband to spend Christmas with. But instead I had 40 relatives at out big family Christmas dinner on boxing day which was real fun (8 people didnt show up, can you imagine 48 for dinner , nuts). We had it in the church basement. 40lbs of turkey was aten, 20lbs of potatoe aten and counting the turnip, carrots, cabbage, peas puddin, onion pudding, stuffing and all the deserts including blueberry cake with sauce and apple pie. Glad to hear that Santa, Gouldings and Robinsons spoiled you like crazy...you deserve it more than anyone one i know.

Love always Corrina

Wow, glad you had a great time!
I love Christmas!

I have that Willow Tree nativity, too - well, without the wisemen or the manger. It's really cool.

Your drums are cool - are they djambes? (don't know how to spell that?) - I think that's what they are called in West Africa....

Anyways, how was March of the Penguins?

Victoria is so beautiful, I need to arrange time off with Craig so we can go up there - it's not like it's far away.

All the best!
Anney

PS - did you dye your hair? It looks red in the first pic....pretty!
