Last night Peter and I had a little mini-pre-Christmas. We recieved a package from my family in the mail that was stuffed with presents! Of course I couldn't wait to open it so we dived right in! My mom is so cute, she made sure I had my Christmas chocolate and little Christmas candy dishes and new ornaments for our imaginary tree. She also included a little book about Christmas memories that made me have a little cry. This is my first Christmas as a Robinson and I am so excited but I still miss all of the Christmases that were spent at home. I had 23 Christmases with my family so I guess I'm allowed to miss it a little bit! Peter was so comforting though and allowed me to have my little 'I miss my family moment' and then all was well. I think that distance really does make the heart grow fonder...I appreciate my family more and more each day.
