Waterslides and mini golf and hockey, oh my!!

What a great weekend! I went on a waterslide for the first time since I was 10! I was only brave enough to go down the one that you ride a tube in but I wanted to do it again and again! Peter went down almost every waterslide there was at West Ed while I watched or sat in the hot tub!!

Also, there was a gigantic breakthrough...I beat Peter in a round of golf...it was mini golf mind you, but I beat him...by 2 whole points!!! What a game!! I will remember it forever - a great day in history! I also beat him at a round of skee ball - and I didn't even know what skee ball was at the beginning of the game!

So, the weekend went great. It was weird being at a hockey game with the Oilers and the Sens - I couldn't cheer for either of them!! We also got invited to dinner by a friend and his wife - they told us all about their recent cruise and made me so jealous! We also saw a sea lions show at West Ed - they also had the cutest pengiun there! So cute!

I didn't take very many pics - just pics of the weather changes as we drove north. When we left Calgary there wasn't any snow and then as we drove north we drove into winter and into fog that didn't go away until we started driving south again! Anyhoo....that's the weekend in a nutshell!
