The rain has been coming down pretty much all week and some places are beginning to flood like last year - let's hope it doesn't get as bad. Yesturday morning I was supposed to be doing a home visit, I was at the address that the mom told me and I was trying to get into the back yard to go to where the basement suite was supposed to be. The rain was pouring - the hardest it's been all week. I was too short to reach the latch on the gate, so I tried jumping, I tried pushing the gate and pulling the gate. Nothing. I pull out my cell phone in the middle of the front yard to contact the people who I was supposed to be visiting, the mom confirms the address, I confirm that I'm on the right street at the right house number. Then I tell her that I can't get in the gate. She says 'there's no gate'. Um...yes there is....the gate is giant and I've been trying for about 10 mins to find a way in! Then she says 'oh, my house isn't number 129 (the one that I was at). it's 219!!!' I immideatly run for my car before someone calls the police!!! I was dripping wet!! What a morning!!

Tonight is Quench at Berkshire (the montly city wide youth event at a church in the north). Peter was asked to speak which is really cool. I know that he really enjoys speaking to groups of young people so I'm sure he will have fun. He hasn't done it since we were in Ontario last summer so I am looking forward to hearing him tonight. He was also asked to speak a few times at our church this summer while are pasters are away which is also really cool.

We are still looking for volunteers to help with FORWARD if anyone is out there and really wants to help us lead a weekend long VBS program for about 50 kids aged 5-12!!!!!!! Let me know!!!!!!! However, if you are a creepy person reading my blog then I don't think this announcement was for you!!!!!
