This morning we got up at 5am to go downtown to watch the Calgary Stampede parade. We got great curb seats and only had to wait until 9am for the parade to begin! There were snowbirds flying over, Peter got to hold a Gold Medal from this years olympics and we gave a great big Yee Haw to the Salvation Army General.....after the parade we headed to the Stampede Grounds for the Rodeo and now we are getting ready to go to the Phantom of the Opera.....it been a fabulous date day!!

One day I am gonna come and visit my uncle and see the stampede parade. It always sounds like fun.
