January 15th - it feels like forever since I've been back from Christmas vacation but yet the month is half over already!! Everything is getting back to normal, Peter has started his volleyball season again and Kids Klub starts up again this Tuesday night. We are half way done our Introducation to Officership Course (that is what we spent all last week and this past weekend doing), the next part of the course is getting ready to preach my first sermom....that's just a little bit scary for me! We were supposed to have a 4 hour interview on Friday as a part of our application process for college but the dude wasn't there so we had to reschedule...all of the stressing out for nothing!!
This past weekend was a lot of fun. We had a Christmas party with the people that I work with and their spouses on Saturday night. It was a room full of 10 very different people but it turned out very good. All of my co-workers love Peter and think he is quite hilarious (which he is!)...they have been re-telling stories of him at the party all morning!
Yesturday we went to the wave pool. It has been a long time since we have been there, I had forgotten how much fun it is! We took 3 kids from our church for the afternoon and we had a blast with them, just as we always do! They have started to talk about us moving away and asking how much longer, which really makes me sad. Last weekend when we returned from our 3 week vacation, they ran up to us at church with tons of stories and excitement that we were back. It made us feel so special and missed. Then I started to think about when we move away in the fall and I won't get to see them and talk to them everyweek at church...I'm going to be such a mess!!
