On Sunday I handed out valentine's to all of the lovely girls in my life and I was caused to smile when one little girl came over to me (she is usually very shy around me and hardly ever comes over to talk) and said 'Amanda, that was very kind of you'. She made my day!
Today during one of my home visits with a family from africa, they were determined to find out where I was born and they would not believe that I was Canadian. They wanted to know what other languages I spoke, because they thought I spoke Hebrew. For some reason the were determined that I was born in the middle east and that I was Jewish because Canadian girls aren't as beautiful as me!! That REALLY made my day!

If you need some tips in the Hebrew Language, I have a few books you can borrow from my days at Booth College. That was the toughest course I have ever taken in my life!!
