It was certainly a whirlwind weekend...but a good one!!

I was excited all week for Saturday to come....we had a surprise birthday party for Peter!! I have so much trouble keeping secrets so when it was time to reveal the surprise I was very relieved!! Peter and I had a date with his little sister on Saturday afternoon to see 'Meet the Robinsons' and when we got back to his parents house everyone was there to surprise him...and they were all in costume for the Golf Course Murder Mystery. It was the first Murder Mystery that I ever participated in - and I ended up being the murderer! We had a lot of fun, enjoyed a look of great food and even got to watch Calgary beat the pants off Vancouver!!!

On Friday I was feeling a little exhausted from the week (okay, I was A LOT exhausted) and I needed something to take my mind of all the stress so we went to 'Blades of Glory' in the theatre....it was diffently mindless humor to say the least.....but I did really enjoy it!!! I was happy to have a relaxing evening....and we even had movie vouchers which made it even more enjoyable!!!

On Sunday, we went to the Science Center (you can get free passes with Airmiles if you are interested) with the three Wiseman's. Trying to track three very excited children in a huge crowd of people was a challenge but tons of fun!! It was cool to experiance that day with them.....we even had a deep coversation about heaven and hell on the way home from church and a deep converstaion about booggers on the way home from the science center!! (Not to mention the Napolian Dynamite lines during lunch - 'I need some chopsticks because my lips hurt real bad!!' and 'Amanda, go make yourself a dang quasadilla'). I love those kids so much! They were talking to us about when they first met us and they thought that I was Peter's daughter!!! hehe!!
