Sunday was our farewell from South Meadows Community Church. I love that church. I love the pastors, I love the children, I love the friends, I love the sermons.....it was sad to leave but I really felt encouraged and supported. After church we had a wonderful bbq with family and friends- it was a great afternoon.
On Monday we got a farewell from the Salvation Army Alberta and Sask. division at Pine Lake Camp. It was good to be up there again - to revisit the place where we got married almost 2 years ago! We also got to meet up with two other families that are going to school with us in the fall.
This past week so far has been very bittersweet. Saying good bye to Peter's family = tears. Saying good bye to our Pastors = tears. But, then, meeting the people who we are going to be spending the next 2 years with - exciting. I get excited, then I think about the people left behind, then I get sad. Diffenatly a roller coaster of emotions!
This week we are having a few days of vacation and holidays as we head out to Winnipeg. We are going to stop at the Corner Gas television place which should be a highlight in Sask! Fun times. Please pray for safe travels for us and we will update you when we arrive in Winnipeg!!
