We are now on reading break....it will be more like writing week because of all the assignments I need to get done! Not really sure where the 'break' comes in!! I will try to get some scrapbooking done though...I got a ton of new supplies around Christmas time and I haven't been able to use them much yet!! Perhaps I will turn this into 'scrapbook week'.....just a thought.

It is Winter Weekend up at Pine Lake Camp this weekend. It is the first year in a lot of years that we haven't been there with our youth group from South Meadows. A lot has changed since then. Not only are we not in Calgary but neither is South Meadows. I feel bad for the youth group mostly...we've kinda scattered all over the place. I feel that many of the youth need us now more than ever and we can't be there to support them. Please pray for them, especially one who is going through a lot right now....we feel burdened to be so far away from her and helpless right now....please pray that she gets the support she needs.

On the good news front, my old church in Pasadena, where I grew up, announced that they are staying open and that they are getting new officers appointed there in June. That is very very good news as they were on their way to closure.

Not much else is new around here. The second years are getting more and more excited for April 25 to come so that they can get their appointments and know where they are going from here. We hear about our summer appointments around that time so that will be exciting for us as well. It will also be an exciting time because Spring will be here and we won't have to deal with the Winnipeg cold and windchills any longer!! brrrr!!!!
