This past weekend, myself and Peter, along with 3 other Cadets and one Officer, traveled to Yorkton Sask. for a 'specialling' weekend. It was a 5 hour drive with lots of fields and fields to see along the way. While we were there we stayed with the Officers and got to have a first hand look at what happens in The Salvation Army in Yorkton. We had a BBQ for the community - serving hot dogs and hamburgers for free at Superstore. We worked at the Thrift Store on Saturday afternoon and then did the service on Sunday morning, followed by a congregational meal (supposed to be a bbq but the rain was pouring all day!!) It was a fun time and a great experiance!
