Full surrender

"Striving with all His energy which so powerfully works in me"

Last night at midnight I recieved a text message from someone who listens to God's heart and who is used by God to speak to me in unbelievable ways. God never stops surprising me with His unusual ways. This person was sent by God to confirm for me that no matter what it is that I am called to do or where I am called to go, it will all work out if I do it in His strenght and with His energy and not my own. Once again, when you pray, God will answer. When all my focus is on God, the fear disappears and I am filled with only Him. I become a complete disaster when I allow the fear to consume me. There have been several major moments in my life where I have experianced first hand the power of God when I fully surrender to Him. I'm not talking about saying you give everything to Him and then doing your own thing, I'm talking about full out sacrfice. It becomes like a supernatural experiance. When that happens, I feel God taking over and he does crazy things to tell me that He is proud of me for letting go and He does nothing but bless me. When I fall away or do things on my own again life really sucks and it's hard just to get out of bed. But with God - man, He is always just waiting for me to say "yes". I fully pledge to "Go" with God and for God and because of God. No more Amanda getting in the way. I am stating this for my life in general - even if He is just calling me to full out teach Sunday School where kids tell me that there is an elephant up my nose while I'm trying to lead them in singing!!
