Well, I thought that I would clear some things up from my last post....what I was writing was from where I am personally...I've been missing something in the past year in regards to worship, it just hasn't been the same for me. It's not that I don't enjoy my church or our worship or the people who lead worship...I just have a deep passion for worship that is very difficult to explain. I want people to get excited about worshiping God, I've been in many youth worship services where I've seen the power of God just move so dramatically and I've been missing that. People who aren't afraid to allow God to work. I just think we've become a little 'stiff'. I didn't want to offend anybody...and I really do think that our church rocks, if not I wouldn't be going there.

I think we need to challenge things that we aren’t happy with, especially in our own churches – and you did this in a personal and polite and productive way. I saw no slander or malice. I see one concerned person’s opinion of their walk with God and they are brave enough to share with others.
I agree with Anney, I didn't get that you were unhappy with your church at all....just that ou were posting on a subject close to your heart.
keep doing it, because if there is no discussion on such issues, then eventually it will be a problem
I don't disagree with you at all...i do agree that people worship in different ways...they need to feel that they are free to stand or sit or move or kneel...worship (and in this case I've been talking about worship in music) needs to have variety so that everyone feels comfortable...and worship needs to be lead in a way where people have have that freedom. This is a very heavy topic and I'm sure everyone has an opinion about it.
Thank you Anney and Jackie for encouraging me to speak what I feel...I do believe that what I have been speaking about is just merely the beginning of what I feel.
