Last night was the African Childrens Choir....a very cool experiance. Peter and I got to see first hand how prayers are answered right away when you have faith enough to believe. We got to definalty experiance God proving to us that He is in control and can make anything happen if we just ask for it. Over and above that, we got to watch a bunch of children from Uganda sing in their own language the songs that we sing in church every Sunday, as well as songs that are unique to their country. These children from Uganda were all victums of HIV Aids where one or both of their parents has died and they are left alone. To be selected for this choir is like winning the lottery for these kids. They not only get to travel the world and see things that most of us haven't even seen (like Disney World and the Empire State Building), but they get their education provided for and their dreams come true. They have such joy in their hearts because they have the love of Jesus..they dance and jump (higher than any of us can I'm sure!) and shout about what God has done in their little lives. I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again, if you ever have the opportunity to see them in concert - go! It's free and you will come out so blessed!!
