Spring is here.....that means so are the allergies! If you don't have allergies please be very thankful and feel very blessed! But if suffering for a few weeks means that the leaves are going to come out and the flowers are going to bloom then I can handle it!
This weekend was an interesting one in our neighbourhood...our condo building got hit with paint balls, a few houses down the street got toilet papered, several bus stops got smashed and the bank got robbed...and I thought we were living in a nice, quiet area! Our neighbourhood doesn't even compare though to what has been happening down on the Red Mile! The Flames are winning the round and the fans are going wild! Someone tried to set fireworks off in the middle of 17th Ave! Who nows what will happen tonight when the Flames kick the ducks off their pond!
Church was pretty good this week. The best part about my church is the sermons - I get the most out of that part of the worship. We had several new people show up this past week - and they are joining the South Meadows softball team! Peter is pretty excited about that! It snowed yesturday so they couldn't practice! Once again, welcome to Calgary!
I went on the South Meadows Outdoor adventure on Saturday......the hiking put some pain back into my not so healthy knees, but other than that I enjoyed it. I dreaded having to play the organized group games but we ran out of time to play them so I was quite releived about that!
Anyhoo..back to eatting my lunch! Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend!

GO FLAMES GO!!!!!
I hope I can show Jeremy the RED MILE while we are there in Calgary in a few weeks. Hopefully the hype and people are still around for him to see how wild Calgary gets during Hockey season!
