This morning I layed in bed and listened. I could hear the birds singing their songs and I wished that I had the energy to get up early in the morning to praise God like that. The Bible says that God takes care of the sparrows and I think that they thank Him by singing lovely songs to worship Him. Then I wondered. Do the sparrows use their voices to praise God all day long but we are too busy during the day to hear them?? Or do they just sing in the mornings. Some day I'm going to stop during the day and listen to see if I can hear them. I probably should take the time to stop and listen for God while I'm at it!
I'm excited for this upcoming Easter weekend. After the Good Friday Service Peter and I are heading to the mountains to do some biking. I just found some really cool trails that I'm excited to try. I love being out in nature - I haven't done it nearly as often lately as I used to. On Saturday night Peter and I are leading Quench at our church for the youth in the city from the various Salvation Army Churches. We are going to set up the 'Stations of the Cross'.....if you are in the 'youth' catagory, come and out to Deer Run Community Center at 7pm!
