My third Third Day concert was the best yet! Not only did I get to share the experiance with my husband, but also with a good friend and with thousands of other Calgarians! I thought it was rockin' sweet that Stampede ended it's 10 days with a huge Christian concert...actually, it wasn't a concert, it was an incrediable worship experiance. It didn't seem like a concert at all, it was more like a huge church service. Someone commented, 'Why can't church be like this?' My thought was, 'Yeah, why can't church be like this?' There is no reason why the saddledome can't be transformed into a place of worship more often where people rock out, dance, feel free and are moved to tears all at once. There is no doubt that God filled the dome on Sunday night - I was moved by all three performers (Starfield, Chris Tomlin and Third Day). If you ever have the opportunity to see either of these bands - do it! Chris Tomlin had an awesome way of leading people in worship - most of the time he wasn't even singing the songs himself. It was cool to listen to thousands of people sing the songs that he once wrote as he was sitting in his living room one day. I will post some pics and some more of my thoughts about the concert at a later time - it was definatly the highlight of Stampede for me!

Is starfield that band that came to the college that time?
I think it is jackie. I saw Mercy Me a few weeks ago at wonderland, they were awesome. Also Jeremy Camp is real good.
Corrina
I think you might be right as well...I know that several members of Starfield are from Winnipeg..they are all living in Nashville right now...they sing 'I'm a fire, I'm a flood, I'm a revolution' and some other contemporary worship songs that I can't remember right now!
Very nice site!
