As some of you know already, because I talk a lot about it, worship is definatly a true passion of mine and I've just been given a role in leading children in worship at our weekly kids gathering! I'm quite excited about it, it's always a blessing to watch kids praise and sing and learn new songs and now I get to be a part of that....I'll let you know how it goes!
Krista mentioned football in her last comment and I was reminded that I didn't blog about that from last weekend...probably because I'm not really a huge fan of football. I can even go as far as saying that I'm not a fan at all! But, because my dear husband is a fan I sat through the 4 innings or periods or whatever it is that they are callled and I actually didn't hate it. I was entertained by the people behind us who must have drank at least 6 beers each, I was caught up in watching the couple in front of us with their little baby and I of course offered to go get us some food to take up more of the time. It was a good time enjoyed by all! We were thankful to be sitting in the side of the shade because my brother in law who was on the other side of the field ended up with a pretty bad sunburn that day. Also, the big dude that was assigned to the sit next to us ended up sitting on the concrete steps behind us, so we ended up with plenty of room!!
The weekend is here again, no football this weekend, however Peter and his bro and his pa are all going golfing on Saturday. That gives me time to do some baking for small group and for a few dinners that we have planned this week with our friends and family members. Maybe I'll even get to finish my scrapbook as well and perhaps start my oil painting - sounds good to me!

I told you the people behind us were quite entertaining. And yah, I've seen the baby that comes sometimes, a little cutie. Count yourself lucky the big guy sat on the bench in front of you but not DIRECTLY in front of you! I was like you, bored the first few times I went, but I actually enjoy going now. Sometimes the actual game is boring but the crowd around makes up for it, sometimes. Sometimes one or two of the younger fellows get a bit TOO drunk and loud! Glad to have given you the opportunity to go.
