Lately I've been faced with some crazy people showing up in my life....well, really just one.....crazy people just make life really 'crazy'....I guess we all have them....let's just all say a little prayer of thanks for the sane people who help you through the craziness!!
So, Michael Decker is married. I seen it with my very own eyes. The wedding was absolutly beautiful. They had a chocolate fountain!!
Driving to work yesturday really made me feel that summer is over. The school buses were back on the streets, children were walking with their school bags and the leaves are even changing color in our neighbourhood! Some little friends of mine started school for the very first time, my sister-in-law started a brand new Christian School and my brother went to grade 8!! I can't believe how quickly he is growing up. When I talk to him on the phone now he sounds just like my 22 year old brother and apparently he is way taller then me now! I can't wait to see him at Christmas time!
Breaking news.....I've started scrapbooking! I wasn't going to publicly admit that, but I think that I just did! I wanted to make a pretty memory book of our Anniversary celebrations so I bought a scrapbook and pretty paper....oh my! We even talked about getting me a crafting table to work at at home because I'm starting to become a little crafter with my paper and paints and scissors all over the place!! Poor Peter!
In other news, Survivor Bible Study starts up again next week!!! We are changing the start time...it's now going to be at 7pm...we will have pot luck supper together, study the book of Acts and then watch Survivor....everyone is welcome...our house.

I started scrapbooking and making my own greeting cards this year too. I used to think it was strange, but it's actually very relaxing and enjoyable. I made a baby book for our little one, so all I have to do is fill in the empty spaces when he/she does something fun and exciting. I can't wait to add pictures too.
Yay for scrapbooking!
Yay for someone else to scrap with!
So, in case you haven't noticed yet....it is a very expensive hobby, especially when just starting. That is why we share what others have...then we don't need to buy all the tools!!!
All that to say, I have lots and lots....when do you want to come by???
You better becareful though I may make a tea or coffee drinker out of you yet.
Nothing more relaxing than scrappin with a cup o tea!
Yikes...that is what I was afraid off!! I figure I will practice a little bit first and then I will be all set to go for those lady craft nights...does this happen to everyone once they get married??
It doesn't just happen when you get married!:)
Oh no Mel, have you caught the scrapbook bug too???

I never have tried scrapbooking but after being married for 11 years (and not even being able to hem Gary's pants) I decided to make a quilt! Since then I have made a few different quilts, wall hangings, and pillow slips. I actually enjoyed doing it but since moving here I haven't the space (other than the dining room table and who wants to take things down every night for dinner) and my sewing machine doesn't work!
How was the football game? I'm sure it was amazing! Great day, weren't you glad our seats are on the west side. I watched the first half on t.v. and then spent the afternoon getting Allison from the airport. Poor Gary, he couldn't hook up Laura's tv or radio so when I called him at half time he didn't even know we were winning! I taped the last half and he watched it later.
