I've just been doing very quick updates lately....college life is extremely busy...but still very good. Here is some of the latest....
-I saw a doctor and I am allowed to drive again!!! (for those of you who didn't know, I may have had a seizure back in Sept and they took away my ability to drive....but now I can drive again!!) I spent 5 years driving a lot of kms a day for my job, so not driving for the past month has been a little challenging...but I enjoyed the break!
-I am very proud of my parents who have started learning to use the computer and have been checking out the cfot.ca website and my blog regularly...that's pretty exciting for me!!
-As you saw below, we recieved our Winter Assignment. We are looking forward to going to Gibsons BC for a couple of weeks to help out with the Christmas season. Then we are heading to Calgary on Dec 24th until Jan 2nd (Melanie - are you going to be in Newfoundland still??). I am excited to see our Officers and their children, maybe take them to the wave pool!!! I am also excited to see Peter's family and go shopping with my little sister in law! Maybe we will even get in a Flames game! I miss not being able to see NHL games live...how spoiled am I?!!! On the other hand, I am a little sad that I won't be seeing my own family for Christmas. I know that we said we would go anywhere in the country, and I am happy that we said that, but I still reallly miss being with my family at Christmas time. If we did go to NFLD, then I would be dissappointed that we weren't going to see people in Calgary....gotta take both sides I guess!! Peter and I have decided that no matter where we get posted next Christmas, even if we stay here in Winipeg, we will go to NFLD for Christmas...only 14 more months guys!! BC will be fun to work in during the month of December...get a break from the Manitoba cold!! I love being by the ocean and seeing mountains and all that good stuff!!! I'm sure to have lots of pictures to share!
-The chapel that I did on Friday past went well...I was pretty nervous but I felt that I did the best that I could. Right now I am helping to plan for a special Sunday when the head of The Salvation Army in Canada is visiting the college (the TC's)...that is a pretty exciting task to be able to do!!
-Peter has joined the Salvation Army hockey team here in the city. They have had two games so far. I think I will be going out on Saturday evening to cheer him on! Tomorrow night (Friday) he is preaching for a youth event in the city, so I will go cheer him on at that as well!!! That about sums up the weekend ahead....I am supposed to be typing a theology paper right now so I better go!! Take care!

OHHH Amanda this Saturday? Maybe I will go too and it could kinda be like old times...only BA will not be tripping over the blue line.
I've been actually wanting to go to the last few, but have been too busy.
Yeah...this Satuday night at 10:45pm I think...you should come and cheer with me!!!!
